“SCRUBB” is the combination of two former music lovers “Muey” (Thawachpon) and “Ball” (Torpong). They mentioned that their songs were come out of everything around them and their lifestyle. It’s easy to understand, nothing complicated which like the name of the band “scrubb”. It is just a normal function of voice recorder that they’re both used when they’re working on underground project. But in this general name, there something familiar was hiding behind them. Just like most of their songs.

The Volunteers Asia Tour 2024
The Volunteers (더 발룬티어스 as known as TVT) is an alternative rock band based in Seoul, South Korea. TVT composes of Yerin Baek (vocal and guitar), Jonny (guitar), and Chiheon Kim (drums). Immediately after their formation in 2018, TVT started uploading self-produced demos on SoundCloud which ultimately saw over 3 million streams while their self-made music video scored over a million views, securing the band a passionate following even before any official release was announced. After much anticipation, the band officially debuted in 2021 with a self-titled album “The Volunteers” which was met with both public and critical acclaim, winning the band three nominations at the prestigious Korean Music Awards. In the same year, the band’s first headlining show “Join the TVT Club” was held, selling out on all eight nights of its happening. In 2022, The Volunteers returned with a double-track single “New Plant” in time for their second headlining show “This is TVT Club” which marked another sold out success for the band.

Yerin Baek debuted in 2012 as one-half of a K-pop duo, 15&, and was immediately recognized for her unique and awe-inspiring vocals. Her musical contribution to the hit K-Drama Crash Landing on You, ’Here I Am Again,’ brought her international fame, which has led her to tours in North America and now Asia-Pacific. Through consecutive releases including her FRANK EP (2015), Bye bye my blue (2016), and her 2019 album Our love is great, Baek soon established herself as a solo singer-songwriter whose warm voice and persona spreads genuine and far-reaching comfort, sympathy, hope, and love to fans across the globe.
